Polynucleotide Injections

Polynucleotide injections are a form of regenerative aesthetic treatment that uses highly purified DNA fragments, typically derived from fish, to stimulate the skin's natural repair and rejuvenation processes. Unlike traditional dermal fillers that add immediate volume, polynucleotides work at a cellular level to improve skin health, elasticity, and hydration.  A cutting-edge bio-regenerative treatment that stimulates your skin's cells to repair and renew from within. It boosts natural collagen and elastin production, leading to improved skin quality, firmness, and elasticity. Ideal for the delicate under-eye area, face, neck, and décolletage.

How They Work

When injected into the skin, polynucleotides (long chains of nucleotides, the building blocks of DNA) act as bio-stimulators by activating specific receptors on fibroblast cells. Fibroblasts are responsible for producing essential skin components, and their stimulation leads to a cascade of beneficial effects:

  • Increased collagen and elastin production: This process strengthens the skin's structure, improving firmness and elasticity and reducing fine lines and wrinkles.
  • Enhanced hydration: Polynucleotides attract and bind water molecules, providing deep, long-lasting hydration and a more radiant complexion.
  • Tissue repair and regeneration: They accelerate the healing process, helping to improve acne or surgical scars, stretch marks, and sun damage.
  • Anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects: They help to reduce inflammation and neutralize free radicals, making them suitable for sensitive skin conditions like rosacea.

Benefits and Uses

Polynucleotide injections are used for a variety of cosmetic and medical applications, including:

  • Facial rejuvenation: Improving skin texture, tone, and elasticity on the face, neck, and décolletage.
  • Delicate areas: Effectively treating the thin, delicate skin around the eyes (reducing dark circles, fine lines, and puffiness) and around the mouth.
  • Scarring and pigmentation: Helping to fade acne scars, stretch marks, and hyperpigmentation.
  • Hair restoration: Stimulating hair growth and improving scalp health.
  • Wound healing: Used in various medical applications to aid tissue repair.
  • Combination treatments: Polynucleotides can be effectively combined with other treatments like microneedling, laser therapy, or dermal fillers to enhance overall results.
